Night pages: 3-22

A young boy, the narrator, named Eliezer lives in a Transylvanian town of Sighet during 1941. Eliezer has three sisters named Hilda, Bea, and Tzipora. The narrator studies the Talmud and the Cabbala. In 1944, the Hungarians govern the Fascits and the German armies are located in Hungary and march into Sighet. From this, many Jews' confidence lowers as they have to wear yellow stars. They are later pushed into a small space with German soldiers keeping the Jews in order. I am starting to notice the cruelty that was involved during this time period between the German Soldiers against the Jewish communtiy. In the next pages, I will learn more about the harsh conditions for the Jews.

Yea, you are just realizing the horrifying things Jews went through during this time? Come on now Eli. Anyway, you are right about the cruelty Jews dealed with in this time period and Eliezer shows us his treatment in one person view. I am also interested to read the rest of his story as you and I learn more about Nazi Germany.
